Real Horn & Bonded Black Leather Toggle Closures, Made in Italy
Thick beautiful toggle buttons made of genuine buffalo horn, with one sharp end and one tapered end, set with black bonded leather loops and ends. Real horn is distinguished by natural variation in color and pattern. No two toggles are exactly the same. Some have a purer black look with fewer natural striations, and others have many more dark brown or tan striations. Bonded leather is made from leather scraps, much like composite wood. (The 3rd picture shows the back.) Made in Italy.
Each toggle is made up of two parts: one side with a 'button' and the other with a loop. Great for overcoats and accessories. Made in Italy.
One size: 7 3/4" (195mm) long when closed
The dimensions of the sew-on part, point to end is 2 1/4" (55cm) by 1 5/8" (40mm).
The horn 'buttons' are about 2 1/4" long by 3/4" thick at the widest end, on average.
