Description

Hard horsehair braid is used as a decorative trim as well as a gentle internal stiffener. Its unusual properties and strength make it popular for stiffening hems, puffing out puff sleeves, and making belts, headpieces, and bows. This horsehair braid has a gathering thread woven into one edge which can be pulled to shrink in the braid, creating more shape possibilities. *Please be aware that there will occasionally be up to 3 separate pieces in each 25 yard roll.*

We offer horsehair braid in both Hard and Soft weights. The Hard version is a bit firmer than Soft, acheived by a thicker diameter of the polyester "threads" which create the braid, allowing it to withstand a bit more resistance.

Quantity Pricing on this item is regardless of color. So for example, 4 rolls in one color and one roll of 4 different colors are both eligible for the discount.

Shipping & Returns

Orders placed before 2pm on a weekday will be shipped the same day. Orders placed after 2pm will shipped on the following business day, excluding holidays.

Materials sold by the yard are not returnable. All other items can be returned in original condition within 30 days for a full refund of the cost of the item. Shipping costs are not refundable and buyers must pay return shipping costs.
